Love this idea and the new/lower price. Have you ever thought about incorporating an element of ownership to entice people more psychologically. Like to participate in the feeling of saving/acquiring new watches. A lot of ways you could do it, but something like 10% of every rental fee goes towards your savings to purchase a watch eventually.
This is certainly a niche product but a cool idea if you're into watches and have the money (I bet it costs a fair bit more than a new Casio every month).

I was the first employee of Marquis Jet back in 2001 and spent the next decade watching the proliferation of luxury collaborative consumption, or shared asset business models; everything from jets to vacation homes, cars, art, dresses, and handbags. I constantly heard our clients, nearly all watch lovers, lamenting that they had enormous, underutilized watch collections of expensive and generally depreciating assets. It inspired me to figure out a program that solves their problem and I soon realized what I was creating was also perfect for today's luxury market which has come to be defined by access and experiences over ownership/collecting.
