Most Shopify apps show your reviews and videos the same way to every visitor. Eevy evolves both what content to show and how to display it, automatically. Using genetic algorithms, Eevy tests dozens of combinations simultaneously: which reviews, videos, and images convert best AND which layout presents them best. Two dimensions of optimization running 24/7 on every product page. 8-figure stores using Eevy saw 23% higher revenue per visitor and 31% higher AOV without lifting a finger.

Hey, I’m Marius, CTO of Eevy AI.
For the past two years I’ve been obsessed with one question:
Why do Shopify stores spend thousands optimizing ad creatives, but leave their on-site content completely static?
Your reviews, videos, and images look the same to every visitor, every day.
Meanwhile Meta runs genetic algorithms on your ads to find what converts.
We thought your store deserved the same treatment.
So we built Eevy.
How it actually works
Eevy runs a genetic algorithm (inspired by biological evolution) across two dimensions simultaneously:
1. Content selection
Which reviews should appear first?
Which videos get the most engagement?
Which images actually drive purchases?
Eevy figures this out automatically for each product.
2. Layout optimization
Star placement, card styles, photo arrangements, carousel behavior, spacing, typography — hundreds of micro-variables that humans would never realistically test together.
Instead of A/B testing one change at a time and waiting weeks for significance, Eevy tests entire populations of combinations simultaneously.
The best-performing variants survive and generate new variations.
The weaker ones disappear.
Every product page evolves independently, 24/7.
The results
Even we were surprised.
8-figure Shopify stores running Eevy have seen:
+23% revenue per visitor
+31% higher average order value
+18% higher conversion rates
And that’s without merchants touching a single setting.
Building this was a ride
What started as a simple idea evolved (yes, intentionally) into a fairly complex distributed system.
Evolution jobs must trigger at the right moments.
Rendered HTML has to be served extremely fast on every Shopify page load.
Thousands of events need to be tracked, processed, and fed back into the algorithm so it actually learns.
Behind the scenes we built systems for:
real-time event ingestion
evolutionary optimization pipelines
review collection workflows
AI enrichment
image processing
video transcoding
All running across multiple services.
Getting all of that to work together reliably was honestly the hardest engineering challenge I’ve ever taken on.
What Eevy offers at launch
8 section types across reviews, UGC videos, galleries, and AI summaries
22+ layout variations evolved by the genetic algorithm
Homepage review and video sections to optimize beyond product pages
Continuous genetic optimization on every product page
Revenue-per-visitor tracking (not just conversion rate)
Automated review collection with customizable email flows and incentives
AI review summaries and translation across store borders
Multi-store sync so multiple stores share one subscription
Per-product analytics showing exactly which sections drive revenue
Deep content analytics (e.g., video watch time → conversion rate)
We’re shipping new sections and layouts every week and improving existing features based on feedback from merchants already using Eevy.
This is not a “launch and move on” product — it’s evolving alongside the stores using it.
Why Product Hunt?
This is our first public launch.
We’re a small team from Norway. No VC funding. Just two years building something we genuinely believe should exist.
If you run a Shopify store — or know someone who does — we’d love for you to try it.
And if you’re curious about the tech, the algorithm, or the system behind it, I’m happy to answer any questions.
