GA4 relies on JavaScript, so it mostly can't see AI crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and Perplexity visiting your site. EdgeShaping Lite logs AI bot visits at the PHP layer instead — no JS dependency — so you can see which bots read which pages, and when. - Dictionary-based AI bot detection - Dashboard with bot frequency ranking + most-visited pages - Full access log, CSV export - AHQG Matrix: cross AI visits with human search clicks (GSC) to spot pages AI loves that humans haven't found yet

Quick update for anyone following along 👋
A few people asked how the AHQG Matrix actually works, so here's
the short version:
It plots every page on two axes — how often AI bots crawl it, vs.
how often humans click it from search (via Search Console). That
gives you 4 quadrants:
- Pages AI loves but humans haven't found yet
- Pages humans love but AI ignores
- Pages both find
- Pages neither finds
The idea is to catch the first one before your traffic dashboards
would ever show it — since most of that AI traffic doesn't run JS
and never hits GA4 in the first place.
Appreciate everyone who's tried it so far — feedback welcome, bugs
and all.
Quick number for context: when I cross-checked GA4's pageview count against raw server logs filtered for known AI crawlers, the AI traffic was running at roughly 9x what GA4 showed. Not 9% more — 9 times. That gap is the whole reason this plugin exists.
