Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Alborz, the creator of EasyCam, and I’m excited to share it with you today! 🚀 🔹 What it does: EasyCam is a simple, no-frills camera app designed for seniors and anyone who just wants an easy way to take photos and videos. No confusing menus, no ads, no distractions—just a camera that works. 🔹 Why I built it: I saw my parents struggling with the default iOS camera app and kept hearing similar complaints from others about how complicated it is. I wanted to create something simpler, more accessible, and frustration-free for anyone who just wants an easy way to take photos and videos. 🔹 How it works: • One-tap capture – No mode-switching, just press and shoot. • Simple zoom slider – Easily adjust zoom with a smooth slider. • Voice feedback – Announces camera actions for users with visual impairments. • Shake assist – Waits for a steady hand before taking a picture. • Always free – No ads, no in-app purchases, no data collection—ever. 🔹 What’s next: Now that EasyCam supports 12 languages, I’d love to keep improving accessibility and adding features based on feedback from the community. This started as a small side project, and thanks to AI tools like Cursor and Claude 3.5, I was able to learn Swift and build this from scratch.
