Create a private room and chat without leaving a trace. DullChat is an ephemeral, anonymous chat with a retro terminal-style aesthetic.

Why did you build this?
I built Dullchat because I missed the feeling of spontaneous, honest conversations — without logins, accounts, or digital footprints. Most chat apps today are bloated, permanent, and focused on data retention. I wanted the opposite: something ephemeral, minimal, and personal.
What’s new and unique about your launch compared to alternatives?
Dullchat is a privacy-first, terminal-style chat that self-destructs. No user data is stored, no sign-up is required, and rooms disappear once everyone leaves. It’s designed for emotional moments and quick connections — not permanent threads. Its retro aesthetic adds a unique layer of intimacy and nostalgia.
What are you most proud of in this launch?
I’m proud of keeping things simple. In a time where everything asks for your email, your data, or your attention, Dullchat asks for just a moment. I’m also proud of the community vibe it encourages — raw, anonymous, and human.
