The Bitcoin quantum-freeze proposal blew up on r/CryptoCurrency this week (1,200 upvotes, 500+ comments). Zero of those 500 commenters addressed the tax grenade — forced migration could crystallize ~100% gain involuntarily for 2010-2013 holders.
