DrumToScore turns recordings into editable drum notation. It isolates the drum track, detects timing and kit pieces, creates a playable chart, and lets drummers correct, practise and export it. It works best with Western drum-kit music; ghost notes, dense cymbal wash and non-Western percussion can still need manual correction. Try a 30-second transcription free—no card required.
I built DrumToScore because learning a song by repeatedly rewinding the same section is slow, and fully manual transcription takes real time. The aim is not to replace a drummer’s ears—it is to create a useful first draft quickly. I’m launching early because honest drummer feedback is more valuable than pretending the transcription is perfect. If you try it, I’d especially love feedback on hi-hat timing, cymbal classification, ghost notes and fills.
