Hello Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the maker of DropToDo. 🧑💻
I’ve always found it ironic that "quick" reminders often require so much friction: opening an app, typing numbers, or clicking through date pickers. I wanted something that felt as natural as pulling a physical spring.
That’s why I built DropToDo. The core idea is "Tactile Productivity." By mapping the physical distance of a drag to a time duration, setting a reminder becomes an intuitive, almost playful action that doesn't break your flow.
I’ve spent a lot of time polishing the haptics and the smoothness of the dragging animation to make it feel like a true part of macOS.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this interaction! I’ll be here all day to answer your questions.
Thank you for the support! ✨
Thanks for checking out DropToDo. I built this to be the simplest way to track tasks on Mac.
To celebrate Mother's Day, I’m making DropToDo FREE ($0.00) starting this Friday! 🎁 I'm also making my other two tools (VibeCursor & PixelColor) free as well.
As an indie dev, your feedback is my biggest motivation. Hope this helps your productivity! ❤️
