What do you think? …

Anna Filou
Aaaaaaandroid please :)
Michael Ciurus
@anna_0x Hello Anna. I'm an iOS Developer so obviously I started with iOS :) This is an MVP to see if people will like it. If it goes well I'll think about Android.
Anna Filou
@michaelciurus then I hope it goes fantastically well! Looks so good, wish I can try it eventually

@anna_0x @michaelciurus Love the app was thinking of building something similar I'm however not a coder...But I had come across flutter - Code just once and it creates apps for all platforms - check out flutter its based on Dash language by google.

I have always wondered how to make the most out of the Pomodoro technique and even worked on a prototype of something similar with @gytdau about a year ago; this was exactly how I envisioned it to be 👏 Will give it a shot :)
Michael Ciurus
@gytdau @amrith Yes, I made the app for myself because apps like "Streaks" or pomodoro apps seemed like they missed something for me personally. And that's how Driven was born. I use it every day and it boosted my productivity significantly. Thanks for the comment!

I hate it when people do a nice looking app just for iOS. Hate it!

Been using this for a day & I absolutely love it. Hope to see some better scheduling for the week maybe in the future. On the circular interface, I'd work on the design a bit more, the green color just looks off compared to the other greens in your app as well as maybe rounding things a bit more.

Keep it up! I'm keeping this on my home screen it's that good. :]

Pros:

Builds good habits & increases productivity by putting a timer in your face. Makes the pomodoro technique a blast to follow.

Cons:

Timer is slightly cut off to the right.

Thanks for the review Jared! I'm aware of the timer issue and trying to fix it right now :) Very valuable feedback, noting it down in my backlog. Glad that you liked it!

Cool, but I really don't have time to ads todos again, maybe support sync from Todoist?

Very interesting approach. The timer for habits is similar to @ksmolka's HabitMinder timer based tracking. What I liked about the HabitMinder approach was that I was able to edit the time, if I forgot to start the timer beforehand. Interface wise, I'm not a huge fan of the non-standard emoji or icon picker. I got quite used to where certain emojis.

@ksmolka @boettges Hello Peter. Thanks for the comment! > What I liked about the HabitMinder approach was that I was able to edit the time, if I forgot to start the timer beforehand. Yes, that's on my todo :) > Interface wise, I'm not a huge fan of the non-standard emoji or icon picker. I got quite used to where certain emojis. I would prefer to stick to the apple keyboard but unfortunately Apple doesn't allow in any way text fields that work just with Apple Emoji, so users would have to switch to emoji keyboard themselves. I'm going to implement a search feature that'll make things a bit easier. Thanks for the feedback!
