I've always struggled with it, and I often spend hours searching for an original, surprising, and personalized gift idea. Recently, I discovered the power of ChatGPT in generating gift ideas when given the right context and information. Inspired by this, I set out to build DreamGift, a friendly AI-based gift advisor! Some notable features of DreamGift include: 🤖 Bliss, a friendly and sassy AI advisor, who will become your personal gift shopper, guiding you toward the perfect gift. 💬 A familiar ChatGPT-alike interface, but enhanced with features like convenient autocomplete and a rich gift browser, to make your gift-hunting experience seamless. 💪 Proactive approach - unlike ChatGPT, it would proactively ask you questions about the occasion and person, to hone on the right gift ideas. 🖼️ For every gift idea, it provides you with actual products you can buy, complete with photos and prices from Amazon. The product is free, of course. The business model is affiliation, since we don't intend to sell any gifts directly. In the short term, the focus is further improving our gift suggestions, making them even more original and delightful with each interaction and feedback from users like you. Looking ahead, I'd like to take personalization to the next level: imagine DreamGift suggesting tailored gift ideas for your friend by browsing and learning from their Instagram profile.
