I built DownitX because I was tired of duct-taping slow cloud tools, hit-or-miss download scripts, and separate editors just to keep a clip page fed. Creators should own their files and move fast without exposing their entire workflow or burning through cloud storage quotas.

Grabbed a whole YouTube playlist with subtitles in one go, way smoother than the script setups I've been using. The metadata export is a nice touch for research workflows.
