Most capture tools make you leave the sentence, open a launcher, Notes, or Reminders, then fight to get focus back. Doubleslash keeps capture at the caret: type // in any Mac app, a small HUD opens, the thought files itself, you keep writing. Local-first (no analytics phone-home for core capture). Free forever: note, copy, timer, calc + one integration. Founding Pro $19 unlocks Obsidian, Logseq, Slack, Calendar, Alarm & more. macOS 13+ · ~2.6 MB · Ad-hoc signed today (Right-click → Open).
Wispr Flow: Dictation That Works EverywhereStop typing. Start speaking. 4x faster.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Toseef. I built Doubleslash because I kept losing my train of thought.
I’d be mid sentence in Mail or an editor, need a reminder or a quick calc, jump to another app for “just ten seconds,” and come back foggy. The capture was tiny. The focus cost was not.
So I wanted something that never pulls you out of the sentence. Type // in any Mac app. A small HUD opens at the caret. The thought files itself. You keep writing.
v1 is local first on purpose. Core capture stays on your Mac. Free forever for the basics, Founding Pro is $19 once if you want every integration.
It’s ad hoc signed today, so first open is Right click then Open. Notarization is next on the list.
If you try it, tell me where it felt magic and where it felt broken. Especially Cursor, ChatGPT, Obsidian, Mail. I’m shipping this as a solo maker and real feedback beats polish theater.
Thanks for being here.
