A few years back, I took basic accounting during my bachelor's degree. Fast forward through years of not touching a ledger, and I suddenly found myself needing to refresh those exact skills for my small business.

Dusting off old study materials made me realise two things:

Textbooks are great for reference, but they are heavy and impossible to carry around when you actually have spare time to study.

Learning double-entry bookkeeping isn't about memorising rules. We can build muscle memory for how financial transactions actually flow.

So, I decided to build Double Entry: a collection of 5 interactive mini-games designed to turn core bookkeeping rules into quick, bite-sized practice sessions. It’s built specifically to play whenever you have a free minute, whether you’re riding the tube, waiting in line, or taking a coffee break.

A few things we prioritised while building:

Zero Friction: No account creation, no email signups, and 100% offline capability so you can play underground on the tube.
Bite-Sized Practice: Fast-paced mechanics to test your speed on debits/credits, journal entries, and balance sheet auditing.
Fun Details: You can compete on local leaderboards against Luca Pacioli (the 15th-century father of double-entry accounting!).
