DotQuit is an open-source, lightweight macOS menu bar utility written natively in Swift. Closing an app's last window on macOS often leaves it idling in memory. DotQuit solves this by gracefully quitting apps when their last window closes. • Native Swift with ~19MB RAM footprint • AXObserver-based gentle termination (no force-kill) • Customizable app whitelist • Apple Notarized & open source (GPLv3)

I LOVE this! Have you thought about expanding to iPhone apps?
@jaclyn_iul Thank you so much! Really glad you like it! 🙌
DotQuit is specifically designed around the macOS windowing model (where closing the last window leaves the process lingering in the background).
Since iOS handles app lifecycles and background suspensions very differently at the OS level (and sandbox restrictions wouldn't let third-party apps kill other processes anyway), a direct iPhone port isn't really possible.
That said, I'm definitely keeping an eye on other native Apple ecosystem utilities in the future! Appreciate the support! 🚀
