@danielrapp - This is pretty sweet - was messing with it for a while yesterday until my coworkers got sick of the 20kHz frequency coming from my Mac. Is 20 kHz the highest frequency the computer speakers can produce? It would be great if you could bump it out of the audible human range.
@jfrattarola 22 kHz is the highest sample-rate in my experiments (might vary depending on hardware though), and that should be inaudible for most people, but you might have to trade off accuracy. (Though I think you could compensate for that my using multiple sinusoids and combining the data.)
