I’m Samer, a DevOps engineer who builds indie products after hours.
I built Domain Monitor because I wanted a simple way to keep an eye on my own websites without opening a heavy dashboard or setting up a full monitoring stack.
I wanted something calm and useful from my phone: an app that quickly tells me what matters — is the site up, how fast is it responding, is SSL okay, and did something suddenly change?
Domain Monitor started as a local-first mobile app for quick manual checks, then evolved into cloud monitoring with push alerts, email notifications, SSL expiry warnings, latency spike detection, and traceroute diagnostics.
The goal isn’t to replace full observability platforms. It’s to give indie devs, small business owners, developers, and solo operators a simple “status app” for the sites they care about.
