Free, fast financial calculators for mortgages, loans, savings, paychecks, sales tax and more. No sign-up, no ads inside the tool, every formula explained.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built DollarCalcs out of frustration: every time I needed a quick money answer — a mortgage payment, take-home pay, a sales-tax split — I'd land on a calculator buried under pop-ups, cookie walls, and sign-up prompts, and it would give me a number with zero explanation.
So I made the opposite. Every tool runs instantly in your browser, nothing you type is stored, and each page shows the formula behind the result with worked examples — the goal is that you understand the number, not just see it.
It started as 10 basic calculators and grew as I kept hitting real questions: now there are dedicated paycheck calculators for all 50 states with current-year tax brackets, sales tax for every state, "$X an hour is how much a year" for every wage, a side-by-side tool to compare take-home pay between two states, and charts on everything — debt payoff curves, compound growth, where each mortgage payment goes.
Two things I'm especially happy with: all the calculators are free to embed on any website with one snippet, and there's a free JSON API of US federal/state tax data — no key needed.
Would love feedback: which calculator is missing? What would make these more useful? I'll be here answering everything.
