My name is Abdelmalek, and I created Docrument to simplify document management.

A little while ago, while working with a client, I was asked to find a Document Management System that met specific requirements: it had to be fast, support full-text search across all documents, include robust OCR capabilities, enable secure sharing, and be easy to use. I thought finding such a solution would be straightforward, but to my surprise, none of the existing options fully met the criteria.

That’s why I built Docrument—to provide a simple, modern approach to document management. It includes all the features my client initially requested, and then some!

Here’s a quick breakdown of the features:

• Upload literally anything: You can upload any type of document. Whether it's PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, or text files, if it can be a document, you can upload it.
• Advanced OCR: We accurately digitize documents, including handwritten notes, skewed scans, and mobile photos.
• Automatic classification: When you create a tag, you can choose to have us automatically match new documents against that tag. For example, if you create a tag called "Receipts," we'll automatically assign it to all future documents that resemble receipts.
• Powerful full-text search: All the documents you upload are indexed, allowing you to search through all of them instantly.
• Secure document sharing: Share any document with anyone by copying a link or sending it via email. You can also revoke access whenever you want.
• In-depth logging and tracking: Easily see which documents have been viewed and when.
