I built DNSdon because "why isn't my email delivering / why is my site down" usually means opening six tabs: a DNS lookup, an SSL checker, an SPF validator, a blacklist site, WHOIS… and then guessing which result actually matters.
DNSdon runs it all in one pass, in the order a domain actually works: registry → nameservers → DNSSEC → DNS records → HTTPS → email auth. Every finding is split into what we observed and what it probably means, with the fix.
A few things I was strict about:
• A timeout is never a "Fail." It's "Inconclusive." No false alarms.
• Read-only. We only make the public queries any resolver would.
• No signup for the free tools.
When you want it watching for you: monitoring re-runs the checks and alerts you by email, Slack or webhook when something changes, like a certificate about to expire, a broken SPF record, nameservers that changed, or a subdomain that becomes a takeover risk. It also turns those unreadable DMARC XML reports into "these senders are failing, and here's why."
