Hey Product Hunt 👋
Jordan needs about 360,000 blood donations a year and collects roughly 250,000. That gap isn't because people don't want to help, most donations here happen through "replacement donation," where a patient's family works the phone, calling relatives and friends until someone the right blood type shows up. It works, but only for people with a big enough network, and only after someone's already sick enough to need it.
DM Donation is a free platform that closes that specific gap: post a blood request by hospital, city, and blood type, and any donor nearby who's willing and eligible can see it and respond directly. No signup fees, no middlemen. Coverage spans 122 hospitals across all 12 of Jordan's governorates.
To be clear about scope: we don't collect, test, or store blood. That part still happens exactly the way it should, at a licensed hospital or blood bank, by trained staff. What we built is the layer in front of that: making sure the person willing to give blood today can actually find out that someone needs it today.
If you're in Jordan, know someone who is, or just want to see how it works, I'd genuinely appreciate you checking it out. And if you've dealt with a similar blood-donation gap somewhere else, I'd love to hear how it's handled there — happy to answer anything in the comments.

How does DM Donation handle emergency requests overnight when most donors are probably sleeping, and is there a way for hospitals to flag truly urgent cases so they don't get lost in the queue?

How do you verify donor eligibility before matches go out, especially since the platform covers so many hospitals across different regions?
