One of the more advanced parts (for me) in learning typography is describing them in words from one person to the next, and building a somewhat objective "index" in my memory.
For this reason, I think traversing fonts visually and "in-situ" in themed designs is such a great hack for beginner/intermediates. Bookmarked for later.
