Dimlight is a night skyline where every lit window is a small web toy. Click one and it does exactly one thing. Madame Vespera reads your fortune from a crystal orb. Focus Up runs an escalating timer, one minute to an hour. Draw it up hands you a drawing prompt. Pull Up picks from 255 handpicked films, or grabs a stranger off TMDB. Whip It Up opens a 90s recipe tin — 256 recipes, five ingredients or fewer, with a note from Mom on every card. No signup, no apps, no tracking. Just click.
Love how each window does exactly one thing. One idea: let me favorite the toys I keep coming back to so Madame Vespera and Whip It Up aren't buried under the skyline after a few clicks. Maybe a tiny star icon, or right click to pin to the top. Would make it feel like my own little neighborhood instead of starting over each visit.
@carljung "My own little neighborhood" is a better description of the thing than anything I wrote for the launch page.
Pinning is a good call. There are no accounts, so favorites would just live in your browser — but that's enough to keep the windows you actually use up top. Probably a small star on the card rather than right-click, since right-click doesn't exist on phones. Adding it to the list.
