What do you think? …

Niko
I've always found it strange that online stores still don’t offer a simple way to see how things would actually look on you—or in your home. Whether it's clothes, furniture, or decor, we’re still guessing way too much when shopping online. That got me thinking: what if there was a tool that let you try on outfits or preview items in your space using just a photo? No logins, no hassle—just quick, visual answers before you buy. I’m seriously thinking about turning this into a mobile app, but before diving in, I really want to hear what others think. Would you use something like this? Does this solve a problem you’ve had while shopping online? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments if you like the idea or even want to help shape it. 🫡

I think that Google has come up with something similar. Have you been inspired by them, or do you have any additional features that are slightly different?

Niko

@busmark_w_nika To be absolutely honest, I don't know whether to think of google's announcement as some sort of a curse or blessing in disguise. I had no idea that google was going to launch something like this 1 day before I do the Product hunt app launch, which I scheduled a couple of weeks ago. As competent I think I am at putting together a website, believe me when I say it was too short of a time to build something like this app.

As far as how it differs from google's, from what I could see, is the freedom and focus. The google app focuses on improving product sales, the idea of my app although partially similar, I am hoping it will focus on clothing in general in all areas of fashion. Not only to decide what to buy, but what to wear the same day from your closet, or for example to go to a physical store, take a picture of a dress on a counter, and be able to visualize yourself with it instantly.

Thank you for taking the time to comment! Appreciate the feedback🥰

Congrats on the launch! This is great. I've been meaning to change my style... but I don't like shopping or trying things on so I feel like this would help me out. :'-D

@smith_at_atlas Thank you very much! yeah i feel the same, that's my inspiration for this app, Hope it helps!🥰

Real-time virtual try-on with zero registration? That's some serious edge AI magic! ✨ The pose estimation + fabric physics simulation must be highly optimized to render this fast. GANs or NeRF-based? Either way, e-commerce just got upgraded.

This AI try-on tool is surprisingly fast and easy to use—just upload a photo of yourself and a clothing item, and it shows you the fit in seconds. I liked that there’s no registration required, making it perfect for quick decisions while online shopping. It’s a helpful, confidence-boosting tool for both consumers and fashion retailers alike.

This is such an interesting idea — perfect for someone like me who doesn’t enjoy shopping in stores (I get decision fatigue so quickly 😅). But with online shopping, I often end up returning things because they don’t fit or look right. This would seriously help. Love it! 🙌

Niko

@shuyan_li Thank you for the kind words. It's amazing to see that so many people resonate with the idea, I hope it helps people make better decisions when deciding what clothes to wear and purchase💖
