Hello Product Hunt! π
There are so many note-taking tools out there, but none of them take audio as input. I tried a bunch of them, but they were either too bloated with irrelevant features, or too hard to remember.
Thus, what I really wanted is to be able to upload an audio file, or tap to record and then auto convert that into a transcription.
Say, you're making a mind map of thoughts and ideas, so instead of typing and managing the audio yourself, you could record it and transcribe it. Making it simpler for you to search through and manage it.
Here the first version does just 1 thing -- upload an audio file, and the tool simply transcribes it.
If you're interested in a PRO version, with note taking, please go to https://www.dictaphone.io/pro and signup for the waitlist.
Looking forward to hearing what you think!
Best,
Arpit

Looks cool. How do you differ from Speech to Note?
@neuroneiro Thank you! Speech to note is a good tool, a lot of features, however, I'd like to see the Dictaphone tool to have agents integrated into the note taking process, so that the I could say tell it to go buy me a list of groceries from Instacart or say Amazon!
I see Dictaphone as a natural extension of thoughts that quickly become actions, and eventually a completed task. Voice to text transcription is the first step to achieve that.
