DeviceWebP moves the entire file-processing pipeline from the cloud directly to your local browser engine. Key Features: • 100% Serverless: Traditional tools force uploads to external cloud storage networks, creating major data security risks. Your files never leave your device. • High-Stability Queue: Implements a sequential background Web Worker system that safely processes up to 50 large files at once without crashing or freezing your browser tab. • Frictionless: Zero sign-ups or paywalls.

Really nice that everything runs locally, that was the main draw for me. One thing that would make it even better is adding a simple batch resize option alongside the WebP conversion, since a lot of people converting from PNG or JPEG shots probably want to shrink them for the web too. Right now I have to use a second tool for that step.
@birsenieph Thanks for testing it out.
An option to resize image dimensions alongside the conversion loop would definitely save time for web optimisation workflows. Appreciate the feedback.
Loaded a batch of 50 RAW files and the queue actually held up without freezing my tab, which genuinely surprised me. The fact that nothing leaves my device is a huge plus for client work.
Love that it stays local, honestly a big win for privacy. One thing that would be nice is a drag and drop folder option so I can convert an entire batch at once instead of selecting files individually. Would save a lot of clicks when dealing with big projects.
