@oleg_cherevatyy Well done on the launch! Wishing you continued succss and innovation. What feedback are you looking forard to the most?
Oleg Cherevatyy
@kjosephabraham Thank you! Looking for happy product user reviews blessing the time they start using devActivity :)

I like the mission here! I do wish there was a way to add more emphasise on code quality. and workflow insights. rather than code pushed and tickets solved. as the later can be gamed and leads to spaghetti code. vs the former can lead to a more healthy culture. But I like the start. Maybe it will be added as it strides forward!
Oleg Cherevatyy
@sentry_co Thanks! Code Quality requires access to source code - probably the most valuable asset. That makes a very high start point for customers (to provide source code access). So, at the moment I decided to go repo meta data and get extreme value of it for a dev team
André J
@oleg_cherevatyy Ahh. that's nice! You should put that front and center in your marketing. Im not sure I rep the majority here, but requiring only meta data is a big seller! As for CodeQuality it could maybe be solved by using some sort of GH action that runs on the code on the GH side of things.

@sentry_co Thanks again. Noted that!

The AI-powered analytics and gamification features seem perfect for boosting team performance and engagement. Quick question: How customizable are the gamification features? And how does it handle peer feedback for remote teams?
Oleg Cherevatyy
@nhazdun Weekly or monthly Peer Feedback request on email/Slack to recognize most helpful colleague. You can have custom badges (your own SVGs) and customize the reward level for each challenge. There are also custom challenges and custom achievements to assign the reward manually. Actually Gamification feature designed to run on autopilot without need to configure it manually

Hey Oleg, How does the AI generate insights for retrospectives. What kind of patterns does it look for? What types of achievements or rewards have you found to be most motivating? Congrats on the launch!
Oleg Cherevatyy
@kyrylosilin Hey, Thanks for the question Patterns the devActivity looks for: - Sudden Drops or Spikes: The AI looks for sudden drops in XP scores, increases in cycle time, or a decrease in closed issues, indicating potential problems. - Outliers: The AI identifies individuals with significantly higher or lower XP scores or cycle times compared to their peers, indicating potential areas for investigation. - Recurring Alerts: The AI identifies alerts that trigger frequently, suggesting recurring issues that need attention. - Correlation Analysis: The AI explores relationships between different data points, such as the correlation between XP score and cycle time, to identify potential causal factors. Based on user feedback and research I'd say that Peer Recognition is most motivating. It fosters very positive and constructive team communication culture.
