Today Deso launched under a new name, its layer 1 to build decentralized social apps. Many apps were built on top of it including Bitclout.com. Decentralizing social applications has become increasingly important as traditional apps gather more power to censor and control without sharing their profit with those who matter the most: creators and users. Looking forward to seeing what they do with that in particular with the new $200m developer and creator fund. I have been an active users of Bitclout since day 1 and i love the community, the energy and the stark contrast you can find with other social platforms like Twitter and Facebook (who also want to achieve this same goal)

@ourielohayon you can't get your money out. nobody is posting anything interesting. it's really hard to sign up, I had famous rappers try to sign up and they couldn't do it. traffic is falling rapidly. I tried very hard with bitclout but I had to give up! it inspired me to launch helladoge.com which is SIMPLE - you get dogecoin for posting and browsing, that's it! nothing complicated

@mahbodmoghadam This is not correct. $Clout (now $Deso) is listed in a couple of exchanges where you can sell your coin for BTC or ETH and more is coming. There is also a thriving number of p2p trading apps (the illustration the concept is working in real life). On the sign up i agree they could make a much better job at making it easier. I know a big redesign is coming and hope it includes that. You have other front-end clients for Bitclout/Deso that are really stunning in user experiences like Supernovas or Flick or Cloutfeed. but for that you need first an account. I think they added now the option to sign up with a Google account. but i have not tried it

@chrismessina not sure what you mean by bridge out. But clout is listed on liquid exchanges (blockchain.com for eg) . As per the heebee Geebees hater gonna hate. There was one VERY important announcement today which got burred in the cosmetics of the rebranding : the launch of a developer fund with massive funding. This is BIG news. It s not just code and coin but an engine to fund creators and developers

this is wayyy too complicated for me - I have gotten $300 and there's no way for me to cash out! it inspired me to build helladoge.com where you simply get dogecoin for posting cool stuff or browsing, nothing weird or complicated like this, steemit, voice, etc. etc.
