Dear PH community!
@kevin Thank you so much for helping us with the launch!
My nameās Roman, and Iām responsible for product management in deks.
Before I introduce our product, let me ask you to think for a second:
The amount of content we consume is increasing each year exponentially. Currently, 2.5 quintillion bytes of data are created daily, and the numbers will surely increase.
Companies, entrepreneurs, and our friends are competing to get a few seconds of our attention - the major currency of the new era. Most of us feel overwhelmed by social media, which eventually leads to digital burnout.
As the amount of content grows, the digital environment is getting noisier, which makes it extremely difficult to isolate the signal. There are 500 things per day competing for your attention, likes, upvotes, shares, etc., and we donāt even know how each affects us. The format of interacting with content is changing. How can we adapt to it?
We believe itās time to redefine our relationship with technology and how we use this world-changing tool in our work lives.
š Today, weāre thrilled to announce deks, a knowledge-sharing platform for tech.
We created deks to mute the noise, so you can focus on what matters in the Tech World. Instead of drowning in a rising tide of information or swimming against it, we decided to build a platform that can spur innovation and collaboration.
How?
āBite-sized content: the core of the service concept is content packaged in a card. The card is a container with a limited number of symbols (title and body) and a picture. All cards are tagged according to the topic and can be grouped in decks. You can read each card in less than 15 seconds.
āEasy navigation: you can navigate between cards by swiping. Swipe to the left - next card; swipe to the right - previous card.
āClutter-free experience: we erased all the distractions, so you can focus on what matters.
āBest practices: explore whatās trending in tech, product management, software development, marketing, design, web3, startups (building, promoting, financing, and growing from zero to hero), and much more.
What do you achieve in the end?
āYou power up daily with distilled news, stories, and insights without ads.
āYou get a new way to spread your ideas and become a thought leader by offering a comprehensive, unique, and impactful view of your expertise.
āYou discover best practices, valuable insights, and the ins and outs of tech jobs from the source.
āYou become a part of the community of inspiring professionals.

We look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions!
This reminds me a lot of the "InShorts" app that provides news in bite-sized content with a very similar UX. One question I had is that how do you plan to maintain the quality of the cards longer term, since yours are created by users? As opposed to being curated by a team of editors on your end
@puneet_kohli Thank you for your comment. We are not planning to focus on news content but on insights, ideas, and professional experience in tech. It's up to users to decide who they want to read and support.
If you have any ideas on improving content quality, please contact me at hello@deks.app.
@katerina_arbuzova not sure - something went wrong with submitting my email, it showed a red error message underneath.
