Most invoicing tools assume teams, accountants, or complex workflows. defray is designed for solo operators who just want to create a clean invoice, know whether it was sent or paid, and keep invoice history without spreadsheets.
I’d been sitting on this domain for years after dropping a project where I kept adding ideas instead of focusing on one thing and actually releasing.
I needed a simple invoicing tool for myself, so I built one.
defray lets you create clean invoice PDFs, track their status, and keep invoice history without using a full accounting system.
There are many invoicing tools already. This one is intentionally small and focused.
