The fast, accurate transcription is essential — it enables our coaching system to deliver instant feedback and correction right after each mock call. Deepgram outperforms Google Speech-to-Text and AWS Transcribe for our interview transcription needs with higher accuracy for diverse accents and technical terminology (95%+ vs 85-90%). Unlike Whisper, Deepgram processes speech in real-time with minimal latency (200-300ms), which is crucial during interviews. Assembly AI was competitive but didn't match Deepgram's performance with background noise in typical video call environments.

Great and quick transcription. Their web-sockets are very easy to set-up. The only thing I thing could be improved is multi-language detection. But other than that, a great option for STT streams.
