Honestly the brand matching is what got me. it builds off our actual template instead of picking some generic layout, so decks come out looking like OUR stuff not some AI look. saved me hours on a pitch deck last week, didnt have to rebuild fonts/colors like i normally would.

What needs improvement

Its desktop only rn, no web app, annoying if im on my personal laptop. tho i guess thats also why our stuff never leaves the file which our compliance team actually likes lol

Titles come out pretty opinionated too (like actual statements not just "Overview" headers), took some getting used to but saves rewriting half of them after

Tried perceptis for like a week, has a huge layout library but it never actually matched our brand right, kept fighting it. Also poked at copilot since we already have it thru office but the cleanup afterward kinda defeated the point tbh. Didnt do a deep comparison just enough to know

What's great

I don't have a design team, so before this every client pitch ate a weekend. Now I write a brief the morning of and have something client ready before lunch. It genuinely looks like we paid a designer.

What needs improvement

We didn't have a real slide master built out when we started, so the first couple decks took some upfront setup before it really clicked. A few starter templates for teams without an existing brand deck would help early on.

vs Alternatives

Tried Gamma and Canva first since they're the obvious startup go-tos. Both were fine for quick internal stuff but the output read a bit templated for something going to a paying client, so I kept looking.

The role awareness surprised me most, it structures decks differently for consulting vs PE work automatically. Also noticed it needs less cleanup the longer our team uses it.

What needs improvement

Took a minute to figure out which pricing tier fit our team, a quick comparison guide would help. Also wish there were more example briefs to learn from early on.
