Users can record life stories, advice, and family history through guided prompts or custom recordings, creating a lasting digital legacy that children and grandchildren can revisit anytime.

The idea for DearVoice came from something deeply personal. I lost someone close to me, without having his stories, memories, or life experiences properly recorded. Now, years later, so much of what I remember is based only on memory — and memories fade over time. As we grow older, we slowly forget details, stories, voices, and moments that once felt impossible to lose. Even when we try our best to remember someone, it’s never as accurate or meaningful as hearing it directly from them.
That realization stayed with me for a long time.
I created DearVoice to help prevent that from happening to other families. The goal is simple: give people an easy way to preserve the voices, stories, advice, memories, and personality of loved ones before those moments are gone forever.
Whether it’s parents, grandparents, or family members sharing life lessons, funny stories, family history, or everyday memories, I believe future generations will value hearing those voices more than we realize today.
