Hi all! Ben here with DataJobba. I've been working in an environmental consulting role for nearly 20 years; however, it is time to move on. I'm transitioning my career towards health data science & epidemiology, but I've found the data vertical to be underserved. Data science job postings quickly become overwhelmed, and employers have to arbitrarily sift through hundreds of CVs for each opening. DataJobba was built to specifically empower data professionals in their career progression. The platform provides job listings, corporate profiles, candidate profiles, and easily viewable vertical-specific metrics such as salary trends over time (stratified by regions and by level of seniority), volume of jobs posted over time and trendings jobs and companies. Users receive weekly updates on popular job postings, unique openings, new entry-level jobs, and insight into the frequently requested skills noted in job postings which helps guide their continuing education. Employers can search candidates by location, skills, requested salaries and other characteristics. Employers can also request candidates of their choice participate in an AI-driven pre-screen interview, following which, the employer receives the entire chat, and a summary of the candidates strengths & weaknesses, indicating their goodness-of-fit (excuse the pun) for the role. Last, candidates can access the library of free resources, such as online textbooks, datasets and instructional videos to help build their skills. We're excited about connecting skilled data professionals with well-compensated, engaging work. Likewise, we believe employers can save time and effort finding the right candidates for their role. Looking forward, we'll be exploring alternative job posting methods, such as abbreviated listing longevity (a week or less), reduced application ceilings (a maximum of 25 to 50 applications, following which the job posting is removed), and limiting applications to users which have a strong match for the role. I'd love to hear your feedback on the datajobba.com platform and what we can do better. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
