I'm Sid Mohan, the founder and creator of DataFog (www.datafog.dev). I'm an experienced Product and Strategy professional with a self-taught web development and data science background, and DataFog has been my full-time project for the past several months.
The main use case I built the tool to support was to allow people to create sanitized datasets to 'share' with a ChatGPT instance for Q&A/semantic search purposes but the fact is from the conversations with customers that I've had, it's clear that having a robust and user-friendly tool to scan and replace data is crucial for all individuals.
I work in DS and wanted to use ChatGPT to ask some questions about how to shape my data exploration. I used the synthetic data generation tool and it came up with some pretty helpful replacements.
