I’ve been looking for an app like Daisy for a long time.

As an Account Executive and Business Development Manager, I spend a lot of time on discovery calls, client interviews, and follow-ups. Usually, I either have to take notes manually and lose focus during the conversation, or use cloud-based tools and then worry about where the transcript is stored.

So it was really cool to be part of the focus group and test Daisy in real client work.

What I liked most:

it records directly on Mac, without adding a bot to the meeting
the transcript stays on my side, which feels much safer when working with client conversations
I can stay fully focused on the call instead of trying to write everything down
summaries are super helpful for follow-ups, CRM notes, and next steps
the app feels especially useful for sales, BD, research, consulting, and anyone who talks to clients a lot

For me, Daisy solves a very real problem: it helps keep the conversation human while still giving you clean notes and structure after the call.

Really excited to see where the product goes next.

Overall, Daisy already solves the core problem really well

I considered the usual tools for meeting notes and transcription, like Granola, Otter, Fathom, and other AI meeting assistants.

They are useful, but for my work the main issue was always the same: most of them are cloud-based, often join meetings as a bot, and I don’t always want client conversations, discovery calls, and sensitive sales notes to live somewhere outside my control.

As an Account Executive and Business Development Manager, I spend a lot of time talking to clients. For me, the call itself matters a lot. I don’t want to be distracted by manual notes, but I also don’t want to lose control over the transcript.

That’s why Daisy felt different.
