Daisy is an open-source (Apache 2.0) meeting notes, dictation, and voice notes app for Apple Silicon Macs. It records microphone and system audio without a meeting bot, transcribes on-device with Whisper, and stores each session locally as Markdown. Summaries can run locally with Apple Intelligence or, when you choose, through your own AI provider. A local MCP server lets Claude, Cursor, and other compatible clients search meetings and work with transcripts. Free during beta.
