Either the tool was overkill (Salesforce), or it handed you a blank page and said "configure your pipeline." A five-person team shouldn't need two weeks of setup just to track deals. So I built around templates. You pick one, and the CRM comes pre-configured. The ecommerce template has Lead → Quote → Negotiation stages, order value fields, and fulfillment tracking already in place. The counseling template starts with intake → assessment → care plan. The general template covers most other sales teams. After picking, everything is still editable. The template is a starting point, not a cage. What it does: • Contacts & companies — CSV import/export • Deal pipeline — drag-and-drop Kanban board • Tasks with calendar view • Notes & activity timeline • Multi-language: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文 • Open source — self-hostable with PocketBase What it doesn't do yet: • No email sending or automation • No third-party integrations (Slack, Gmail, etc.) • No mobile app I'm the only developer on this.
