Currents is a personal finance tracker built for people whose money crosses borders. 50+ currencies, native — not as an add-on. Every transaction stays in its original currency. Reports convert at historical FX rates, so March amounts never silently shift to today's rate. Cross-currency transfers, budgets with rollover, beautiful reports with a spending heatmap, hide-balance shortcut, full CSV export. Free, ad-free, no data selling. Built for anyone whose financial life isn't single-currency.
Hey hunters 👋
I built Currents because every personal finance app I tried assumed I lived
in one country and earned in one currency. I don't, and millions of people
don't.
I'm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I freelance for clients in the US, Europe,
and the Middle East. My bank accounts hold BDT, USD, and AED. Every app I
tried either forced me to pick a single currency and live with bad math, or
hid multi-currency behind a $10/month "premium" tier.
So I built the tracker I wanted to use.
What Currents does differently:
🌍 Native multi-currency from day one. 50+ currencies including BDT, INR,
PKR, NGN, BRL, IDR — not just the OECD top 10.
📅 Historical FX rates. A $50 dinner in March stays at March's rate.
Reports never silently shift when exchange rates move.
💱 Cross-currency transfers. Moving money from your USD account to your
BDT account? Record both amounts. Currents shows the implied FX rate.
📊 Reports that respect your reality. Income vs expense, category
breakdowns, spending heatmap, account flows. Compare any range to the
previous period.
🎨 Editorial design. Serif headlines, tabular numbers, warm paper or
inky dark mode. It feels like a financial publication, not a SaaS
dashboard.
🔒 Free, ad-free, and private. No upsells. No selling data. Ctrl+H hides
every amount instantly (good for sharing your screen).
It's free. It will stay free for personal use. If you've ever felt invisible
to your finance app, this is for me and you.

I'd love your feedback — feature requests, bugs, design criticism, all
welcome. I'm watching the comments today.
