Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the maker behind this tool, and to be honest, I built this completely by accident this past weekend. The Inspiration: Two days ago, I was deep in the trenches of applying for jobs. I realized I was stuck in a repetitive loop: Open ChatGPT → Paste resume → Paste job description → Paste old cover letter → Paste constraints → Generate → Edit → Repeat. The friction was so high that I found myself skipping cover letters entirely just to speed up the process. I realized that I knew the workflow so well, I should just code it once and never think about it again. What I built: A simple, no-nonsense cover letter generator designed to remove the repetitive data entry and add flair to your writing! 📄 One-time Setup: Upload your resume, links, details once. The app remembers them. ✍️ Style Mimicking: You can upload examples of your previous writing, and it will generate letters in your specific voice. 🎲 Tone Rolling: Don't have a style yet? The app creates a new tone/feel every time you generate until you find one that clicks. ⚡ Zero Friction: It’s free. Also, there is no strict email authentication right now - if you want to test it out with a random/dummy email, go for it! The Evolution: This started as a messy script just for me. Then I wrapped a UI around it. Then I shared it with a few friends who were also job hunting, and they found it helpful. So, I decided to deploy it for everyone. It’s not a massive platform, just a helpful utility to make the job search a little less painful. If this saves you 15 minutes of copy-pasting, the weekend build was worth it.
