I noticed that a lot of Etsy sellers are facing the same problem: copycat sellers steal their original product images, and sometimes they even file copyright complaints against the actual creators. The worst part is that original sellers often don't have enough evidence to prove ownership, so they end up losing their listings.
I saw this pain point and decided to build a solution called GetCopyCatch.com.
The app automatically scans your Etsy store and searches for matching images across Etsy every week. If someone copies your images, you'll get an early alert so you can take action before things get worse.
And if a copycat actually files a copyright complaint against you, there's an Evidence Pack feature. It includes your original image's SHA-256 fingerprint, a comparison of your listing and the suspected copycat's listing, and other relevant details to help support your ownership claim.
I've also added demo data so you can explore the platform and understand how everything works without connecting your actual Etsy store.
The goal is simple: help Etsy creators detect image theft early, collect useful evidence, and protect their original work.
