If you've ever tried to add phone/calling features to a WordPress site, you know the drill, you either get locked into a pricey SaaS PBX with monthly per-seat fees, or you're stuck cobbling together some clunky third-party integration that doesn't really "belong" in your site. I wanted something different which was a phone system that just lives inside WordPress, on infrastructure you actually own. 🏠 So that's what this is, basically a fully self-hosted phone system plugin for WordPress. No cloud subscriptions, no recurring per-user fees, no sending your call data off to someone else's servers.
