And if not only in YouTube you need to change the video resolution. I need to change the resolution on my videos, a large full hd video, I need to change the resolution to 480, what kind of software would you recommend?

@demian_dex Have you tried free video editors? They can usually change the resolution of a single video. I don't promise fast execution speed, but it's free software. But if you need to constantly change the resolution on different videos, it's better to look for paid software. I can help if you want.
