Hi ProductHunt, I'm a solo founder who's always been interested in the intersection of tech and governance. 🏛️ Lawgiver was created to be the AI-native stack for legislation and policy. CongressMCP is our first product and is special as a proof-of-concept for turning government datasets into AI-friendly interfaces. I aim to build more AI-first tools like this that will ultimately lead to better policy and laws. The server is hosted and has full coverage of the Congressional API, consolidating 91+ functions into just 6 comprehensive toolsets. You can install the NPM bridge and configure Claude Desktop or any other local MCP client to get started. This was designed with government affairs and policy teams in mind, who are mostly using clunky web2.0 dashboards and email services to get legislative alerts and analysis. CongressMCP is a step toward re-imagining legislative tracking and regulatory compliance if it were built AI-first.
