Although very different, this reminds me of the bizarre Cuddle Clones, a service that creates a stuffed animal version of your pet.
This is neat, although I'm skeptical it will have broad appeal:
@rrhoover Yeah, it's pretty niche -- but cool nonetheless. Apparently some concept artists have a decent fan following. These guys won Startup Weekend Vancouver this past November and went on the win the Global Startup Battle as well. Someone thinks it has legs : )
