What do you think? …

Moatassem Abdelhaleem
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Moatassem, founder of Compuser.ai We built Compuser because I was tired of doing the same boring clicks and form-filling tasks every day — things that felt like they should be automatable by now. I didn’t want a traditional macro recorder or RPA tool. I wanted something smart. Something that could see my screen, understand it, and do what I ask — like a real teammate. That's where Compuser comes in. What’s new & different? Most AI tools either: Help you generate content (text, code, etc.) Or automate fixed workflows with rigid logic Compuser does something unique: It understands screenshots and interacts with your UI using function calls — click here, type there — based on your natural language input. No need to integrate APIs or write automation rules. Just say what you want, and Compuser takes action. You can pause your operation at any time, and be able to get back to where you left. We’d love your feedback and ideas — and we’re here all day to answer questions. Thanks for checking out Compuser ❤️ — Moatassem

Nice idea, poor execution. Tried a simple search query. First attempt ended up getting blocked by Google. Then it tried duckduckgo before saying I'd run out of credits.

Moatassem Abdelhaleem

@rhys_wa Unfortunately google blocks the bot. It's something we can look into, but duckduckgo is perfect for search usecases.
We'd love to extend the free trial but we're bootstrapped and running such models can get expensive on mass. You can try the paid plan and If you're still unhappy, we'll be more than happy to refund you.

I'm very glad to see this type of product go further!

Moatassem Abdelhaleem

@bieber_chen Thank you!

Can I use this with a real windows VM so I can have it open MS Word etc?

Moatassem Abdelhaleem

@mikestaub We currently offer a linux vm, it has a word, excel and ppt equivilant that work perfectly fine in the environment. Moreover, you can use MS work in the cloud through the browser!

This is seriously sick, the potential here is giant. Like someone else mentioned, the usable product here is not quite there yet, but I’m super excited to see where this goes and how it might fit into my workflow long-term. Couldn’t explore much (Google block + free limits), but count me in for everything you guys have coming

Moatassem Abdelhaleem

@dheerajdotexe Much appreciated!

If this is V1, what's your moonshot capability? Imagine I say, 'Compuser, completely reorganize my messy desktop and file system based on how I actually work' - how close are we to that reality? @moatassem_ai

Moatassem Abdelhaleem

@rachitmagon That's a great usecase! I think it can actually do that now! But to clear the confusion it does it on the cloud desktop it gives you, not your personal computer

I love the idea of having an AI teammate that can actually see and understand the screen like a human. Most tools I’ve tried either need too much setup or only work for very fixed tasks. Compuser sounds much more flexible.

One thing I’m curious about, how well does it handle complex flows across multiple apps or browser tabs?

Moatassem Abdelhaleem

@ke_me8903 I tried it to open my shopify account in one tab, and then search for the best performing product in my niche, copy the product info, download the product image, then go to my shopify account, and upload the photo alongside publishing the product and it did it seemlesly!
