Take a US passport photo online: upload or use your webcam, instantly check it against the official 2x2 inch spec, and crop it correctly. Free to check — pay only if it passes. Accepted or your money back. We never AI-edit your photo.

Hi Product Hunt! I built Compliant Passport Photo after getting a passport photo rejected over a tiny sizing issue I couldn't even see. Upload a photo or use your webcam and it instantly checks against the official spec (head size, background, dimensions) for the US, UK, Canada and Schengen. It's free to check. You only pay if it passes, backed by an acceptance-or-refund guarantee. One thing we deliberately don't do: AI-edit your photo. Several passport authorities now explicitly reject AI-altered or retouched photos, so we only check and crop, never fabricate. Would love your feedback on which countries to add next!
Took a quick selfie with my webcam and it actually flagged the right issues with my framing. Kind of cool that they don't just slap a filter on it.
@zafer173643 That is the whole bet: measure and crop, never filter. The 2026 rules made "fix it in software" a rejection reason, so the honest version is the only version that works. If any step of the webcam guidance felt unclear, tell me which one, that flow gets the most tuning.
The webcam check instantly flagged my background was too cluttered even though I thought it looked fine, which was a nice surprise. Glad I didn't waste money printing a bad photo.
@baran_irma80727 That check exists precisely because our eyes cheat: brains auto-tidy a background that a passport reviewer (or their software) will not. We measure the actual variation across it, so "looks fine to me" gets a second opinion from the numbers. Cheapest fix when it flags: step about two feet in front of the wall so nothing else is in frame. Glad it saved you a print run.
The instant spec check against the official 2x2 size is genuinely useful, and I love that you only pay if it actually passes. Wish I'd had this before my last trip to the post office.
@kran271351 The post office round trip is exactly the thing we are trying to kill. The check stays free, so worst case you find out at home instead of at the counter. If a photo of yours ever fails, the result screen tells you exactly what to fix before the retake.
uploaded a quick webcam shot and the size checker caught my off-center head right away, super handy that i only pay if it actually passes the spec.
@suat470174 Glad it caught that. Off-center framing is one of the quietest rejection reasons because it looks fine to the eye, and the crop fixes it without touching a single pixel. Which country's application is it for? Helps us prioritise what to add next.
Photo accepted at the post office on the first try, which honestly surprised me. The instant spec check feels like it should be the default everywhere.
love the pay-only-if-it-passes model, such a smart way to build trust before asking anyone to hand over money. the no AI editing promise is a really thoughtful touch too.
