I'm passionate about the creator economy and about enabling others to pursue their dreams. I built this product to help remove financial barriers for creators, allowing them to raise money by preselling subscriptions for their newsletter or podcast before they launch, giving them runway to focus on their product and create great content. It's perfect for creators that have already built an audience through free newsletters, podcasts, or blogs but want to transition to a subscription model or for aspiring creators that have built a loyal following on social media and are ready make the leap to focus on building out their own longer form content. Comission allows these creators to create a profile and a fundraising goal and ask their fans, followers, and friends to support them by buying presubscriptions for their new endeavor. This gives a chance for followers to show their love for their favorite creators. It's free for creators until they hit their fundraising goal and decide to move forward with the newsletter or podcast, so Comission is only successful when creators are successful.
