Hey Hunters! 👋 Excited to be launching our new project - Introducing Colloq (cuh-low-k)! --What's the Colloq story?--- Sitting through one long meeting after another in our past roles, we were inspired to build a tool to improve how business decisions were made and specifically how they could better be made offline / async. We spent months speaking with teams and heard that decision-making speed and quality is a universal bottleneck. For a lot of hybrid teams it’s done through a combo of excessive meetings and chaotic google docs / slack channels - a combo which inevitably ends with unclear ownership, lost info, and delays. We love GitHub and wanted to bring a version of pull requests and the git log to help with business decisions - On Colloq you create a structured decision proposal, tag stakeholders / assign roles, gather feedback, and log a source of truth. We're launching a stand-alone web platform today but have a lot on the horizon - We’ll be adding a Slack integration next and have updates planned incorporating automations, AI use cases, templates, analytics, and more. --Who is Colloq for?-- Colloq is for individuals and teams of all sizes that need to make and document decisions. We’ve seen that decision-making challenges intensify as teams grow so we think that larger (especially hybrid/remote) teams will get the most value out of Colloq. While building our MVP we collaborated with folks in these roles: - Team leads who want to reduce ineffective meetings and increase productivity & knowledge sharing - Chiefs of staff who want to improve the quality and speed of collaboration / engagement with stakeholders - CEOs who want to better delegate while maintaining visibility into decision-making across the company - Boards who want to upgrade their decision making processes and documentation --Our Goal-- Our goal with this launch is to get as much feedback from the community as possible. We are a bootstrapped team of 2 so any feedback from beta users is incredibly important for us. We’d love for you to create an account and test a real decision with your team.
