Hi, I'm Sanjeev, founder of CoFlyer π My parents flew Bangalore to Toronto alone β lost at immigration, panicking about a tight connection, no one to turn to. A stranger noticed and helped them find their gate. We never got to thank them. No parent should feel that scared in an airport. CoFlyer matches travelers on the same flight so no one navigates it alone β free, always. Feedback welcome π β Sanjeev
Hi, I'm Sanjeev, founder of CoFlyer π
A few months ago, my parents flew from Bangalore to Toronto β alone, for the first time in years.
Halfway through, at immigration, an officer started asking questions. Rapid, unfamiliar English. My mother doesn't speak the language fluently, and in that moment, she couldn't find the words to answer. My father tried to help, but he was just as lost. They stood there β confused, embarrassed, and quietly terrified they'd said the wrong thing.
Then their connecting flight's gate changed. The signage was overwhelming. The boarding call was minutes away. Two people who had raised me, who had faced everything life threw at them, suddenly felt like children in a place that didn't speak their language.
A stranger noticed. He walked them through immigration, explained what was being asked, and personally walked them to their new gate before their flight closed. We never even got his name to say thank you.
I keep thinking about that moment. Not the confusion β the fear. The fear of not understanding, of being questioned in a language you can't fully follow, of getting left behind in a country that isn't yours. No parent should have to feel that alone.
That's why I built CoFlyer. It's simple: register your flight, and if someone else β a volunteer, a fellow traveler, someone who speaks the language, someone who's simply been there before β is on that same flight, you get matched. For free. No accounts, no fees, no ads. Just one traveler looking out for another.
If it helps even one parent feel a little less afraid at an immigration desk, or find their gate in time, it's worth it.
Would love this community's feedback π β Sanjeev

how do you actually match people on the same flight, do users opt in ahead of time at booking or only once theyre already at the airport

@toprak3bv8Β The person with kind heart and ready to help others parents need to enter the details. The date of travel and flight number. Based on that match will happen . Email will sent to both the parties.

Congratulations on the launch :) This is so kind - no one's parents should feel lost and scared in an airport. I really like your idea of matching people who are already on the same flight.
