A repository-first workflow system for Codex that takes changes from repo intake and spec delta through planning, acceptance, pre-ship checks, release notes, diff review, and retros. Includes a worked end-to-end example for real repository workflows.
Hi Product Hunt — I made Codex Product Shipping Playbooks to make repository-based change work less vague.
It’s built for real codebases, where a change should move through repo intake, spec delta, planning, acceptance, pre-ship checks, release artifacts, diff review, and retro — not just “idea → code → done.”
The project includes reusable playbooks, artifacts, gates, flows, and a worked synthetic example called filter-persistence so people can see the full path end to end.
If you work with Codex or agent-assisted development in existing repositories, I’d love to know which part of your shipping workflow is still the messiest today.
